Brendoncare Alton helps make Easter special for local children

Brendoncare, the local registered charity which cares for older people, is delighted to be supporting local children this Easter, by taking part in Eagle Radio’s Easter egg appeal.

The Easter egg appeal helps give local, less fortunate children a happier Easter and benefits over fifty charities and organisations, and thousands of children across Hampshire and Surrey. Brendoncare Alton has opened its doors as a collection point for eggs between 9 and 30 March. Anyone is welcome to pop in and donate an egg for the appeal.

Brendoncare Alton provides residential and nursing care for 80 people, as well as care for people living with dementia. A close care complex adjoins the home providing the independence and security of home ownership, together with access to many caring and communal facilities, giving peace of mind.

Jacinta Grange-Bennett, the Manager of Brendoncare Alton, is thrilled to be taking part in the appeal, saying “At Brendoncare Alton we are keen to support our local community and this is one way we felt we could get involved. We are excited to be part of this great campaign to help make a child feel special this Easter.”
