Homecare for older people
Brendoncare Alton’s Homecare service is designed for older people in and around Alton. Whether you need help with dressing and bathing or meal preparation and shopping, this local service has been created by long-established and well respected care charity Brendoncare to meet your individual needs.
Our aim is to enable people to live at home as normally and safely as possible. We help with a wide range of activities including:
- Personal care
- Washing, bathing and dressing
- Domestic chores and light housework
- Cooking and meal preparation
- Laundry and ironing
- Shopping and collecting prescriptions
- Letter writing, post and paperwork.
Our homecare services are highly flexible, designed to suit the individual needs of you, your family and any carers. You can call on us to provide a regular service or alternatively for short or long term respite.
We keep in close contact with you and your family, and we endeavour to assign a regular carer, giving continuity of care and helping to build a close relationship. Brendoncare staff are carefully selected. We employ experienced Care Assistants with values and attitudes that ensure they care for people with empathy, discretion and competence. Reliability and integrity are essential.
