Charitable Status
Brendoncare is a registered charity with ten care centres for physically and mentally frail older people across the south of England, and a network of over 70 social and well-being clubs. Fundraising is vital to Brendoncare's continued growth, and our three main charitable objectives are:
- In its care centres Brendoncare provides long term, intermediate and respite care, close care and daycare services. As well as providing high standards of care, we fulfil our charitable role primarily through the provision of financial support to those who cannot afford the full cost of that care, with our 'Care for Life' promise.
- Our clubs provide a vital service, tackling social isolation and offering older people fun and friendship, yet running these clubs requires large sums of money.
- Our experience has shown that the best way to develop and provide first class care to physically and mentally frail older people is in modern purpose-built facilities, and we therefore depend heavily on charitable support to fund our capital building programme, and invest in our staff and volunteers.
In order to continue to provide care and support for over 2,500 older people each year, to roll out Brendoncare's innovative concept 'Total Care Living, and to continue investment in our existing care centres and clubs, we need to generate significant amounts of capital monies.
Brendoncare is most grateful to all its supporters, large and small, for each and every donation received. Without the generous financial support we receive from organisations and individuals, Brendoncare could not continue with its vital work.
