Branch Manager of Brendoncare Club Dorset, Tony Hanson, said: "We have had a superb response from the people of Dorset to our first nine clubs, which between them already have around 400 members. Our clubs are devoted to giving older people the opportunity to meet new friends and enjoy a variety of activities including speakers, entertainers, quizzes and club outings. Our aim is to help older people maintain their independence, feel more fulfilled, improve their quality of life and have fun!

"We are constantly looking to add new clubs throughout the county and to maintain and support the activities and interests of the individuals within the existing clubs."

Brendoncare Clubs is working with Christchurch Social Services, Dorset Partnerships for Older People Project (POPP), Help the Aged and Christchurch Older Person's Forum."
