Bank Registered Nurse
We are looking for Registered Nurses to join our team of bank staff to provide ad-hoc cover for staff holidays and sickness. Our bank opportunities provide flexibility and often lead to permanent contracted hours.
Our bank nurses will lead our care teams on a shift-by-shift basis and directing support staff in their clinical areas, to ensure the delivery of high quality care expected of all staff at Brendoncare.
A confident communicator, you will have the ability to motivate and promote personal development within your team. You will be a skilled clinician and effective communicator, with the ability to create a nurturing environment for our residents and employees.
Key responsibilities are:
- To support the Deputy and Care Home Manager in providing leadership and effective 24 hour management of the home within the available resources
- To be responsible for quality nursing assessment and care
- To take responsibility for the safeguarding of adults
Day to day duties will include; assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the safe, efficient and skilled delivery of care to older people in accordance with care procedures as directed by the Brendoncare Foundation’s policies and procedures.
Rates of pay are competitive and vary by home. We provide the same level of training and continual personal development as we do for our permanent staff, as well as a free uniform, free initial DBS check and free staff meals when on duty.
