We are looking for a capable Activity Coordinator to join our friendly care home team.
The role of Activities Coordinator is a multi-faceted role and is pivotal in providing recreation, engagement, participation and a sense of purpose, through enjoyable activities for our residents.
You will be capable, organised and have an engaging personality to enable you to provide the positive input required for this rewarding and challenging role. Ideally experienced in working with older people, you will need to manage your own workload, keep comprehensive records, whilst being aware of the need for the safe use, storage and maintenance of equipment.
This role is a part time role at 16 hours per week
In return we offer a salary of £8.40 per hour (£8.70 with NVQ2), 5.6 weeks holiday including Bank Holidays increasing to 6 weeks with five years service. In addition we provide training and continuing personal development, a free uniform, a free DBS Check and free staff meals when on duty.
