The Brendoncare Foundation was established in 1984 and we are passionate about improving quality of life for older people. We are currently seeking people to join our Board of Trustees and help shape the future of our organisation.
Brendoncare’s care homes, clubs and housing with care services are built around the values of kindness, care, family and home, friendship and community and as a registered charity we focus on relationship-centred care and support, delivered by a team of wonderful staff and volunteers.
We are looking for people who share our values and vision and want to use their skills to support our future development. Trustees have a range of skills and experience and all applications are welcome, but we have identified in particular a need for social care expertise or a background in fundraising or finance. We would particularly welcome applicants from a BAME background as these groups are currently under-represented on our Board. The Board of Trustees meets at our central office in Winchester and the average time commitment is around half a day a month.
