About Brendoncare

Brendoncare is a registered charity, dedicated to improving the quality of life for older people. Care, choice and community are at the heart of all that we do.

Brendoncare employs over 700 staff throughout its care homes, clubs division and in its central office in Winchester.

A large number of volunteers also assist with supporting residents in our care homes, running clubs, fundraising and social events.

Brendoncare’s mission is to care for people in later life with dignity and respect.

Founded in 1984 by Winchester GP, Sir Ronald Gibson, a champion of the rights of people in later life, here you can discover our story.

The Brendoncare Blog showcases stories and news from our care homes, clubs, volunteers and other departments.

Whether you’re looking for information on types of care, advice from healthcare professionals, or want to see what we’ve been up to in our homes, our blog is full of useful information.
