Architects and Construction Consultants take on Three Peaks for Brendoncare

The incredible Three Peaks Challenge team

On Friday 14th June, a brave team of employees from Hunters Architects and Philip Pank Construction Consultants took on the Three Peaks Challenge, and have raised a fantastic £1,100 (including Gift Aid) to support Brendoncare.

Brendoncare worked with Hunter Architects and Philip Pank Construction Consultants in the planning and development of our most recent care site at Otterbourne Hill. The staff team were so impressed with Otterbourne Hill’s unique approach to dementia care that they decided to give something back by tackling the infamous Three Peaks Challenge, in June.

The team have now completed their mammoth challenge, having climbed Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowden, the three highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales, all within 24 hours – including the challenge of travelling between the three mountains during Friday rush hour! This was an incredible task, and the team set themselves the target of raising as much money as possible to support Brendoncare.

Thanks to sponsorship from Banner Buzz, the team held a Brendoncare sign proudly at the top of each mountain, posing for the photographs you can see below! Jason Alderton, one of the team who took part, said afterwards, "It was a great challenge with much fun and pain had, but doing it for such a great purpose makes it all the more worthwhile."

There is still time to donate to the team's fundraising page here.
