Brendoncare Otterbourne Hill – handing over of keys

Brendoncare Otterbourne Hill is pleased to announce that keys for the new dementia-focused community development have now been presented to Brendoncare, by the construction company, Stepnell.

The keys were handed to Edith Brown and Sharon Calver. Edith is a resident at Brendoncare The Old Parsonage, and will shortly be moving in to Brendoncare Otterbourne Hill. Sharon, Activities Co-ordinator, has worked at Brendoncare The Old Parsonage for over 25 years.

Residents from Brendoncare The Old Parsonage will be moving in to the stunning new care home at Otterbourne Hill in August 2018. The new development, offering three integrated services on one site, will greatly impact the health and wellbeing of older people living with memory loss and dementia. The range of services offered will provide vital support to both residents and those living in the local community.

Brendoncare Otterbourne Hill is opening its doors to the local community on Wednesday 1 August 2018, from 12-2pm and 4-6pm. Everyone is welcome to attend and enjoy a guided tour of the services. Refreshments will be available. Anyone interested in attending is asked to reply to Brendoncare by emailing ghayes@brendoncare.org.uk or telephoning 01962 852133.

Brendoncare’s Chief Executive, Carole Sawyers, said “It is exciting to have the keys to Otterbourne Hill and we look forward to welcoming the local community to our open day on Wednesday 1 August”.
