Rising Stars and Mayor at summer fete

Brendoncare Stildon is throwing its doors open to celebrate summer for its annual fete on Saturday 26 August. Residents and staff at the nursing home in Dorset Avenue, East Grinstead, are looking forward to sharing the afternoon of entertainment and fun with local people. From face painting and a bouncy castle for children and adults to plant stalls, craft activities and cakes, there are lots of family-friendly activities going on.

The home is also delighted that the Town Mayor of East Grinstead, Councillor Mrs Julie Mockford, will be joining them, as well as a special performance by the Rising Stars theatre company.

Brendoncare Stildon is part of registered charity The Brendoncare Foundation and has been supporting local people for over 10 years. It is rated ‘good’ by the Care Quality Commission and provides individual care for 32 people. It also offers a day care facility to support people living with dementia in the local community.

The fete will take place between 2pm and 4pm on Saturday 26 August at Brendoncare Stildon, Dorset Avenue, East Grinstead, RH19 1PZ. Everyone is welcome to pop along and join in the fun.
