In addition to our Community Clubs, Brendoncare offers members the chance to join in virtually, too. Online chat groups, themed classes and exercise sessions all take place via Zoom video call, a free-to-download app for your smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer.
Online meetups are a great way for members to keep connected, especially if, for whatever reason, they are unable to attend our community clubs in person. And, if a Brendoncare member goes on holiday or stays with their family for any length of time, our online clubs are a fantastic way to be part of the fun and friendship… Wherever you are. Plus, you can join as many as you like!

Our list of Online Clubs is growing and we’re working to add more throughout the year. Here’s what’s currently on offer:
Monday Morning Friendship Club
What to expect: All sorts of activities from seated exercises and quizzes to social catchups and guided walks.
When: 10am on Mondays (weekly)
What to expect: Led by your experienced host Cinzia, live from her home in Rome, you’ll explore the many different aspects of Italian life including language, food, history, language and culture.
When: 3:30pm on Mondays (2nd and 4th of the month)
Dementia Musical Walks
What to expect: Virtual walks designed to stimulate and engage the minds and memories of members living with dementia.
When: 11:30am on Thursdays (fortnightly)
Brendoncare Monthly Quiz
What to expect: A fun group quiz for all members that will put your general knowledge to the test!
When: 2pm on Wednesdays (monthly)
What to expect: Singing for fun with a supportive online group, who enjoy performing songs from the 1950s to today.
When: 6pm on Wednesdays (weekly)
What to expect: Chef David Higgins will guide you through a simple yet delicious recipe, which you can prepare at the same time or watch along and ask questions.
When: 11am on Mondays (monthly)
What to expect: A friendly chat group with a relaxed atmosphere that can be either themed or led by your host.
When: 10am on Wednesdays (fortnightly)
Friday Fit and Wellbeing
What to expect: Seated exercises, local walks, guest speakers and kurling to help improve your physical and mental health.
When: 10:30am on Fridays (weekly)
