Merry Christmas Online Shopping with Brendoncare!
Christmas is getting ever closer and throughout November, Brendoncare is running a series of workshops, one of which is designed to help you do your online festive shopping safely and with confidence.
First of all, you might want to book tickets for Brendoncare events. Over the month, we are running four workshops to introduce you to our new online booking system Ticket Tailor. Ticket Tailor lets you see all the Brendoncare in-person and online events and book your place in advance. What is more, this is a free service easily available from your laptop, tablet, even phone!
The dates for these workshops are:
- Workshop 1, Wednesday 1st November at 3pm
- Workshop 2, Friday 3rd November at 10.30am
- Workshop 3, Monday 20th November at 3pm
- Workshop 4, Thursday 23rd November at 10.30am

Next week, please don’t forget to join us for a fun morning on November 7th (10:30am) with our Online Club Showcase. During the showcase, we will introduce you to all our current online events and workshops. This will give you a chance to ask questions about the our events and clubs as well as making suggestions for future ones. You can book your place for the Showcase here.
Christmas shopping online
On November 14th (10:30am), do join Yildizhan, our Training and Support Officer, to look at how to shop safely online. You will do this by exploring some of the popular shopping websites and how to navigate around them. If you would like to attend our Merry Shopping workshop, please book your place here.
Finally, our monthly digital drop-in sessions that take place at 4.30pm on the first Tuesday of every month. The next one is on 7th November. If you have an IT-related question or are having trouble with your tablet or phone, please come along. Yildizhan will be on hand to answer your questions. Many thanks to all our members who attended our Get Online Week talks at their local clubs in October! We visited six different clubs in both Hampshire and Dorset during the month. What is more, we talked to over 100 members about our Digital Connections campaign and how Brendoncare Digital Champions are ready to help you with your digital and internet related questions.
