Brendoncare Otterbourne Hill welcomes new manager

Brendoncare Otterbourne Hill, a care home in Hampshire providing personalised nursing and dementia care, as well as respite support, is pleased to announce that Diana Tatpati has been appointed as General Manager.

Diana has done extensive work with older people, taking opportunities to work as a manager for small and large care homes which specialise in dementia and nursing, and being involved with organising in-house activities, social clubs with restaurants facilities, trips out to seaside, garden centres and theatres for those in later life. She has also worked in domiciliary care, where she managed the care and support needs of people in the community.

She has experience working in the mental health sector, which provided her with good insight into how to personalise the care and support needs to make people’s lives as smooth and independent as possible. She has also worked with children in a care home, having supported the organisation in starting their own care home for young adults.

Diana oversees the management of Brendoncare Otterbourne Hill nursing home, and works alongside highly skilled nurses, care assistants, administrators and ancillary staff.

I passionately consider all the staff working for Brendoncare Otterbourne Hill as a family

Diana Tatpati said: “The management team has really been very helpful, especially during my induction period. My immediate manager Dave Robinson has been really encouraging and supportive. I passionately consider all the staff working for Brendoncare Otterbourne Hill as a family and they are a good team to have.

“I feel very humbled by the service we provide in social care, which has proved vital in this pandemic, and by how everyone unites to support each other in this sector. This is a very good team and we will continue to work to a very high standard together and make sure residents and families feel they’ve made the right choice in joining our family here at Otterbourne Hill.”

In her spare time, Diana’s hobbies are gardening when weather permits and visiting places of interest. She also loves to take walks.
