Brendoncare Woodhayes nurse Gill Banda is a finalist in the Great British Care Awards

Winchester-based charity, The Brendoncare Foundation, is pleased to announce that Gill Banda, a nurse at its Exeter care home Brendoncare Woodhayes, has been nominated as a finalist for the Good Nurse Award category within the Great British Care Awards.

The Great British Care Awards are a series of regional events throughout the UK, celebrating excellence in the care sector. The awards pay tribute to individuals and teams who are recognised as outstanding within their field of work.

Winners of the Great British Care Awards will be presented with their awards at a Gala dinner on 25th October in Bristol.

Gill has been recognised for her commitment to individual care and attention to residents, as well as her warm, approachable manner with their relatives.

Brendoncare Woodhayes is a care home in the St. Leonards area of Exeter, providing residential and nursing care for 24 older people. Its aim is to help older people live independent, happy and fulfilling lives.
