Coronavirus guidance for Brendoncare clubs and homes

Coronavirus Guidance for Brendoncare homes and clubs

The threat of Coronavirus is understandably a huge worry for all of us. Our primary concern is always for the health and wellbeing of everyone at Brendoncare. We have put into place a range of measures which aim to minimise the chance of infection in our homes and clubs.

Current guidance for Brendoncare clubs:

Following government guidance to ensure the safety of members and volunteers, all of our Brendoncare clubs are currently suspended.

We have now implemented a contact and support service for our 1700 members, to ensure they have access to all they need to isolate safely. We are also providing telephone calls and virtual clubs to keep members in touch.

Club volunteers can continue to contact their locality manager. Alternatively, please contact Central Office clubs admin on 01962 857099 or email clubs@brendoncare.org.uk if you have any questions.

Current guidance for Brendoncare homes:

Following government guidance to ensure the safety of residents in our care homes, all of our homes are now closed to visitors. We will review this guidance as the government makes changes to lock down arrangements.

Most of our homes are open for admissions and we look forward to welcoming new residents. For further details on current moving arrangements, please see our latest Admissions guidance, contact your local Brendoncare home, or call our head office on 01962 852133.

For relatives, please see our latest visiting FAQs

Relatives can continue to contact the home manager. Alternatively, please contact Central Office on 01962 852133 or email enquiries@brendoncare.org.uk if you have any questions.

Current guidance for Brendoncare community hubs (within our care homes):

Following government guidance to ensure the safety of members and volunteers, all of our Brendoncare community hubs are currently suspended.

We have now implemented a contact and support service for our members to ensure they have access to all they need to isolate safely. We are also providing telephone calls to keep in touch with members

Club hub members can continue to contact the hub or home manager. Alternatively, please contact Central Office on 01962 852133 or email enquiries@brendoncare.org.uk if you have any questions.

The senior leadership team (SLT) of Brendoncare are meeting regularly to discuss developments and we have business continuity plans in place to ensure essential functions are in place, particularly in relation to our care homes.
