Brendoncare Alton is pleased to be supporting Dementia Action Week, 21-27 May 2018.
The Dementia Action event at Brendoncare Alton will run from 2-5pm on Tuesday 22 May 2018 and is open to any person living with dementia and their carers.
The Dementia Advice Service will be in attendance to offer information of local services and provide support to help people live their life to the full. Creative Mojo, an art therapy group, will also be giving free interactive art sessions for anyone attending.
Refreshments will be available during the afternoon and there will be opportunities to look around the home.
Brendoncare Alton is a care home offering specialist nursing and dementia care in a safe and secure environment. A sensory garden, regular activities and person centred care is provided with a home-from-home feel.
The Dementia Advice Service is part of Andover Mind and started in 2010 to help people with dementia and their carers. They are the first point of contact for dementia support. They will provide information of local services to support people planning their future.
