Hampshire-based charity The Brendoncare Foundation is pleased to welcome Tina Manterfield as General Manager for its new ground breaking development at Brendoncare Otterbourne Hill, near Winchester.
Tina has worked for Brendoncare for the past four years. She was Manager at Brendoncare Froxfield which she led to achieve an outstanding rating from CQC, and since April 2017 has been the manager at Brendoncare Alton. Previously she worked within adult social care.
The development, which is scheduled to open in late summer 2018, will support both individuals and couples through a range of care services. A 64-bedroom care home will offer nursing and dementia care in a family-like environment, filled with opportunities for friendship and a sense of community. Respite care and day care services will also be provided.
There will also be 20 apartments available to rent, designed to support individuals and couples living with memory issues.
Brendoncare Otterbourne Hill will also offer a community hub with a range of facilities and resources, including a restaurant, tea shop, areas for clubs and activities as well as an indoor winter garden. The hub will be open to both residents at Brendoncare Otterbourne Hill and people living in the local community to enjoy.
