Hampshire-based charity The Brendoncare Foundation is pleased to announce that Erin Langley has been appointed as Home Manager for its care and nursing home in Park Road, Winchester.
Erin started working in the elderly care sector when she was 18 and has wide experience of working with people living with dementia. She has been in care home management for over ten years and a registered manager since 2013. Her qualifications include Level 7 NVQ Diploma in Strategic Management and Level 5 NVQ Diploma in Leadership and Management.
Erin oversees the management of Brendoncare Park Road, while working alongside highly skilled nurses, care assistants, administrators and ancillary staff. She ensures that the care and service provided is to a high standard. She makes sure that the residents receive high quality care and enjoy positive experiences.
Erin Langley, said, “I have been overwhelmed by the support I have received in my first few days at Brendoncare. Everyone has been so welcoming, helpful and friendly. I am passionate about shaking the negative stigma of the care industry. There are wonderful care and nursing homes and wonderful people who work in them; they should be celebrated. I am lucky to be working with such wonderful people.”
In her spare time, Erin enjoys spending time with family and friends, and in particular going for walks and eating out with them. She also enjoys reading, watching live music and football.
Brendoncare Park Road is a 41 bedroom home providing nursing, respite and end-of-life care. It is located in a tranquil part of Winchester and has attractive mature gardens.
