The development, which is scheduled to open in the summer, will support both individuals and couples through a range of care services. A 64-bedroom care home will offer nursing and dementia care in a family-like environment, filled with opportunities for friendship and a sense of community. There will also be 20 apartments designed to support couples living with one partner’s diagnosis of dementia, helping them to remain together under one roof.
Brendoncare Otterbourne Hill will also offer a community hub with a range of facilities and resources, including a restaurant, tea shop, areas for clubs and activities and an indoor winter garden. The hub will be open to both residents at Brendoncare Otterbourne Hill and people living in the local community to enjoy.
