Care for Life - Brendoncare

Brendoncare's Care for Life Promise

A promise that you will never be asked to leave a Brendoncare home, your home, due to lack of funds.

Brendoncare is proud to provide a care for life promise. That promise is that once a resident has been welcomed into a Brendoncare home, they will never be asked to leave if their funds run out.

We believe it is important that our residents have a home for life. This gives tremendous relief to people seeking care or living in our homes, and to their family members.

Local authorities rates rarely cover the full cost of care and often, a shortfall can appear when personal funds have decreased to the threshold set. Our charitable top-up exists to bridge that gap, covering the additional care costs to ensure residents can stay living in their Brendoncare home.

How does it work?

Firstly, get in touch with our Customer Relations Team on 01962 673600. We will discuss your situation and let you know what the next steps are with regards to visiting the home and meeting the teams. We will complete a care assessment to understand what support needs to be provided.

We then ask for a financial assessment to be completed so we can understand what support may be required in the future. This allows us to ensure we treat everyone fairly and continue managing the charity’s finances in an equitable and sustainable way.

And then on the day that you or your loved one move in, the Care for Life promise starts and you will never have leave due to finances.

Our team are here to help every step of the way, answering any questions you may have, and helping support you and your family during what can be a challenging time. Our Care for Life promise will hopefully add reassurance and security during this time. If you need any more information don’t hesitate to get in touch.

“Brendoncare rang me back within 24 hours and said we are happy to look after your mother and put her on our Care for Life scheme. I can’t tell you how happy and how much I owe Stildon for that because they have been fantastic, and I never need to worry.”
