Annie Burisky
I am so privileged to be General Manager of this wonderful, family-orientated care home, my career coming full circle as I started here as a care assistant.
In the ensuing years, I had many opportunities to work in the wider care sector, gaining valuable experience in staff development, recruitment and human resources.
Gaining valuable insights into the wider sector has shown me how we can enrich and enhance the lives of our residents in so many different ways every day. Providing individual care tailored to each of our resident’s needs is so important to me, enabling them to carry on doing the things they love with our full support.

There are 32 ensuite rooms divided into two smaller households, giving it a homely feel.
All our spacious bedrooms have ensuite facilities, a TV point, private telephone line and a 24-hour call system, while wheelchair accessible showers and assisted bathrooms are located close by.
Residents are welcome to personalise their rooms with their own furniture and belongings, bringing familiarity and comfort to their home.
Care Services
Our care home provides nursing, respite and end of life care.
Residents receive personalised care services tailored to their individual needs, delivered by our experienced nurses and carers who are available 24 hours a day.
Nursing care offers support to those requiring regular nursing due to complex needs such as physical illnesses or medical conditions.
Respite care gives short-term support to those recovering from an illness, hospital stay, or when carers take a break.
End of life (palliative) care supports those in the last months or years of their lives enabling them to continue living with dignity.
Facilities
Our nursing home’s facilities include comfortable communal lounge areas, dining rooms and a hair salon.
Outside in our mature gardens, there are restful garden seating areas and a summerhouse.
Food and wellbeing
Food and drink are an important part of the day. Our chef managers work closely with residents and staff to accommodate any specific likes and dislikes, dietary and allergy requirements or cultural/spiritual needs.
Our varied menus always include healthy, wholesome, appetising food, with snacks and drinks available anytime. We are proud to maintain a 5 star food hygiene rating from the Food Standards Agency.
Our wellbeing coordinators focus solely on supporting quality of life for each resident. They organise a varied range of activities including music and movement, seated exercises, gardening, painting, gentle strolls and use of an interactive activity table, plus visits from local schools and groups.
They also arrange celebrations on special occasions including birthdays, Mothers’ Day, Easter and Christmas.
