A service aimed at people facing the challenges of ageing and potential impacts on wellbeing, for example, losing confidence a recent fall or bereavement, caring responsibilities, etc. It is tailored to each person providing one off or regular contact to discuss their personal goals, identify ways they can improve their wellbeing and to offer proactive signposting and talk about how we can empower members to remain independent and well. You will have access to a range of services including help to get digitally connected with great support and coaching from our volunteers, access digital loan devices to try before you buy, and access regular support and social connections via the telephone, online or face to face in some areas
Need help to set up a new device? Confused about broadband? Unsure how to send photos to friends and family? Our friendly and patient Digital Champions are here to help you achieve your digital goals, whatever they may be. Digital support takes place at community clubs, over the telephone or using email or Zoom.
We offer workshops in person and online via Zoom on all sorts of useful and interesting topics. We keep numbers small to allow lots of interaction. You will have a lot of fun while learning something new. Recent sessions include How to send e-cards for Christmas, and how to listen to audiobooks for free. Here’s what members said about them:

Thanks to our generous donors we can offer loan devices to enable members to join in our online clubs, events and workshops. It’s all part of our membership package, so there’s no need to worry about whether or not you have the right kit! We can also offer telephone coaching sessions to help you confidently use a device to join in with us!
